John is an investment professional at Vermilion, where he focuses on sourcing opportunities, underwriting investments, and supporting portfolio company management.
Prior to joining Vermilion, John worked in investment banking at Ocean Park Advisors, advising public and private clients on M&A transactions and capital raises. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he audited companies across a variety of industries and developed a solid foundation in financial analysis.
John earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of St. Thomas, graduating summa cum laude. During his time there, he also served as captain of the varsity men’s hockey team. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed in 2020, and earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2024.
